Concerts

Jillians of Las Vegas was kind enough to recruit a ton of local bands to play a benefit show for for The Stript! Unfortunately, they will will NOT be able to play since their singer will be on his honeymoon . However, they'll  all be there to hang out. The bands and Jillians are doing this at no expense to themselves- only to help raise money for them to buy new gear, a new van, and get new merchandise.




The show will be Sunday June 29th @ Jillians.


5:00pm. $10. 10 bands.

Las Vegas band “The Stript” had all their gear and Van stolen after Thursday nights show at Jillians with Metro Station and The Cab from their house. Please keep an eye out for the following equipment and or van. Please pass this on to anyone that can help.

I think its pretty messed up that somone would take all of thier stuff. They are and awesome band and I feel bad that this happened. They rocked hard on thursday then this happens. no band deserves this. I just hope someone can find everything.

So  I haven't written anything in soo long! but my happiest joy is that The Cab boys will be home for a show on May 29th! I have the promo cards and everything. I miss them bunches.. I haven't talked to them in quite awhile... only marsh a couple weeks ago... but soon I will see them all.  It's weird because I haven't been to a concert in quite awhile.. at this point its mostly me just studying for finals! But I am feeling quite deprived.

Whisper War is AMAZING... but I already figured it would be. Those boys are awesome and their music is wonderful... I just love listening to the album over and over and over again! I've managed to get my two best girlfriends hooked on the cd too... and they will be joining me at the end of the month for the show!

anyway this post was just a bit random.. I better finish my english paper!

So almost everyone knows what a concert junkie I am. I can't be away form Jillians or House of Blues for more than a maximum of two weeks. I went to AP tour on the 20th, and it was an absolute Blast, beside the fact some retard threw me into a wall and broke my camera. Next week I meet the 2 week max. with it ending at Jillians for The Starting Line concert. But that week will aslo Include Hitting On Hannah on april 11th, and Kate Voegel in the afternoon on the 12th at Star Nursery, then that night with Rookie of the Year, Secondhand Serenade and Summit Grove at Jillians at around 6... so that I'm excited for...

but at the same time I am rally majorly Bummed out. The Cab will not be in Vegas For the Long Hair Don't Care Tour with WTK and Sing it Loud..... I can understand touring other places, but its not just that... we get skipped AGAIN when they do a month long tour with Metro Station, FTSK, and The Main. gah... I think I'd understand it better if I didn't live in Vegas, and if The Cab wasn't from here... but I do and they are so it makes me sad. Last night I was seriously contemplating Flying to go see them in Delkab, IL with a few of my friends that will be at that show.. but then when I came to my senses I realized I barley had enough money for the Hitting on Hannah ticket let alone a plane ticket. So I must sit and wait for The Cab to have a show at home... even if the waiting kills me...

 

Ok I'm being dramatic.. but I miss them.. the only one I've seen lately was Marshall.. and I miss them all!

 

 

anywho.. until a new Cab show at home... I will be listening to my cabulous tunes and patiently awaitng the delivery of my copy of Whisper War.... 31 days

The Cab uploaded Risky Business... it sounds awesome and I look forward to the album in about 38 days www.myspace.com/thecab the LHDC tour starts next week.. I'm still waitng for the announcement of a Vegas date, I mean hello can you say a sold out show?!?!

So I'm a little frusterated lately. I'm having concert withdrawls and even though I went to see Hitting on Hannah last week, and I go to the AP tour tomorrow... I feel a little bummed out that Vegas doesn't have a date for the LHDC tour.  I think thats the only reason I feel a bit in a funk.. oh that and HOH was supposed to do and Remain the Same podcast last Saturday, but we couldnt get ahold of Ryan or Ralph... the keyboardist and singer... sheesh.. Hopefully we'll get to it sometime this week, but I was totally looking forward to it. meh... its been a long week and its only half over.
