Local Vegas Band had Equipment StolenI've been posting this in a lot of places:
Las Vegas band “The Stript” had all their gear and Van stolen after Thursday nights show at Jillians with Metro Station and The Cab from their house. Please keep an eye out for the following equipment and or van. Please pass this on to anyone that can help. www. myspace. com/TheStript The gear was stolen in and with a White Chevy 15 passenger van - Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop 1960 VOS Lemonburst w/ skb case Serial # G08115 - Gibson Les Paul Special 1978 (original!!) double cutaway sunburst w/ flight case - Marshall Jcm800 guitar head (in a double road case w/ orange head) Serial #2203-01-UMK190220B - Marshall JCM800 guitar head Serial #m2007291065B - Orange AD140 guitar head in double head road case w/ marshall - Orange 4x12 guitar cab w/ road case - Soldano 4x12 guitar cab black crocodile cover - Fender Geddy Lee jazz bass w/ roadrunner case - Ampeg SVT3-Pro bass head in case/bag - Ampeg 8x10 bass cab - Pedal board case w/ planet waves tuner, isp decimator, electroharmonic boost, mxr phase, vox wah, morley a/b - Sennheiser wireless guitar system - Ludwig Led Zeppelin/John Bonham drum kit silver sparkle all drums w/ case - Porkpie big black snare w/ case - Cymbals, drum hardware in bags - Amp head case (covered in stickers) full of cables, power supplies, power cords, strings, tools, wireless, etc. All the road cases have "The Strip" spray painted on the front in pink paint and were custom built. I think its pretty messed up that somone would take all of thier stuff. They are and awesome band and I feel bad that this happened. They rocked hard on thursday then this happens. no band deserves this. I just hope someone can find everything.
